Welcome to Pre-Health Shadowing!

Pre-Health Shadowing is a student-founded 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to making healthcare shadowing accessible to pre-health students through a virtual platform. Launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, our mission is to provide engaging, online shadowing experiences for students exploring various fields in healthcare. We are proud to have been recognized by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) for our contributions to healthcare education.
Since our launch, we have impacted over 65,000 students globally, with more than 5,000 volunteers supporting us on our journey.

We host a diverse range of health professionals across different domains and specialties. Each session includes a presentation covering topics like their journey into healthcare, field knowledge, educational background, activities, career path, admissions process, daily work routines, and valuable advice. The second half features a live Q&A, where students can ask questions directly via the chat.
This program welcomes all pre-health students, including those pursuing MD, DO, RN, PT, PA, MSc, DDS, DC, NMD, DS, DCM, DVM, and more. After each session, students can complete a brief assessment. Those who pass will receive a certificate verifying their participation, which can be used to fulfill shadowing requirements.
