About the Speaker
Dr. Chibuzo Casey Ohanaja, MD, MPH, DABFM, is a board-certified family medicine and sports medicine physician and founder of Chiron Sports Performance & Consulting in Metro Detroit. He currently serves as a multi-facility Medical Director with MedCap/MMG and is an adjunct professor at Oakland University, where he teaches graduate-level Evidence-Based Decision Making.
Dr. Ohanaja completed his sports medicine fellowship with advanced training in non-operative orthopedics, musculoskeletal ultrasound, regenerative medicine, athletic performance, and injury prevention. As a former Division I recruited athlete, he blends medical expertise with real athletic experience to deliver high-performance care to athletes from youth to professional levels.
He is passionate about mentorship, medical education, and helping future physicians develop clinical reasoning, confidence, and professional clarity. Through his Med Skool platform, he offers students an inside look at clinical decision-making, sports medicine, and the journey to becoming a master clinician.
